A diaper bag. This will be my first Amy Butler pattern...I have to admit...I'm kinda nervous about it! I wanna have a super hip and cute diaper bag but for some reason her patterns seem kinda intimidating.
The fabric for Baby Quilt #2. I am so excited to start this quilt. I am planning to do the same pattern as the other baby quilt (Yellow Brick Road) because it works up easy and looks beautiful no matter which fabric you use. I can't wait to show you all the finished product!

The first step is to read the pattern - you don't have to comprehend everything - just get the general order of things. Then cut out your pieces. Then leave it for a few days and read the pattern again, this time getting the sense of either how the straps attach or how the lining does. Next seperate insides and outs and get those horrible pockets done. You will probably find this a creative job. Then you read the pattern and join it all together and Hey Presto! One very chic nappy bag! Cherrie PS after that you can maybe design your own bags,no?
actually i could use one of those at the moment too.
Very cute! I love those fabrics...good luck.
that's a beautiful pattern! I can't seem to find a single diaper bag that I'd like to be seen with! =)
I know what you mean about her patterns, but they're not too bad once you get started -- the hardest part is cutting the beautiful fabric! Have fun!
This was my first pattern as well - don't worry you'll do great! My only problem with AB patters is she tends to waste unnecessary fabric by the way she lays it out, so i get creative in placing the pieces on the fabric before i cut. Can't wait to see the final product!
